Professional Experience

Present

As the Editorial Director at HUM Nutrition, I set the editorial calendar and manage the brand's blog and weekly newsletter from concept through execution, leveraging deep experience in SEO. I also write for editorial publications and consult for brands. I'm always looking to work with new clients that fit my interests and expertise!

2018-2021

As the Senior Manager of Content Strategy at Parsley Health, I managed the brand's blog from concept through execution and worked on content across video, landing pages, email, ebooks, and more. I also ensured the medical accuracy of content across channels, working closely with our clinical staff.

2014 - 2017

I worked for Shape Magazine, where I was promoted from Associate Editor to Fitness Editor. I pitched, wrote, and edited the magazine's Fitness section, front of book news pages, and a fitness feature each month. I acted as the on-set certified trainer on fitness photo shoots to ensure the accuracy of moves. I also wrote for Shape.com and produced special packages, like the Healthy Travel Awards, Sneaker Awards, and Holiday Gift Guide.

2012 - 2014

As an Editorial Assistant at Self Magazine, I assisted the Editor-in-Chief with sensitive administrative tasks and conducted research and reporting to vet new ideas. I was promoted to Assistant Editor, where I pitched and wrote content on a range of healthy lifestyle topics for the magazine and Self.com.
